My biggest dilemma when it came to writing about Emanuel's latest release "Black Woman", is figuring out where to even start considering the range of virtuosity laden throughout the progression.

Even though this begins in a calm manner, by the time we arrive near the end "Black Woman" feels like an entirely different track as the large strings crescendo into a cinematic passage. Emanuel is incredibly generous with his emotions too - it's at this moment where he pours it all out with the depth of the lyricism accentuated by his cries. That's the other part which certainly can't escape mention. The songwriting is escorted by quite an empowering message, making it all the more worthwhile to hang on to his words.
