After I binge watched "Stranger Things", I have been riding the reminiscent wave of 80's music. Needless to say I was extremely pleased to find a track which had all the best things from the 80's, but with the modern production twist.
London duo Empathy Test are the guys who have been influenced by the 80's sci-fi movies, nineties guitar music and underground bands. This mix of influences creates the sound we get to hear now: nostalgic, but still very fresh. "Seeing Stars" is a dark and atmospheric track with haunting vocals and an emotional soundscape. It's a very unusual pop track with such an awesome blend of modern and old-school.
