London-based singer/songwriter Espa has released her brand new single, "Swan Song" featuring UK rapper Giggs.
The track produced by frequent collaborator Erick Arc Elliott of the Flatbush Zombies once again showcases Espa’s distinctive lush vocals over a swaggering, slick production - before giving way to an inimitable verse by UK rapper Giggs. His bars are sounding as crisp as ever.
“When I write about a situation, I want to be able to reach that place over and over again explains Espa. I have to be able to perform the lyrics and not distance myself from the audience – I want them to feel what I am feeling too, even if their experiences are not the same as mine.”
Following her excellent LG60 EP, the track is arguably her best yet, both the music and lyrics are on point.
