I guess "Pitchfork" needs no introduction. It's already been 10 years that the well-known webzine organizes its own festival in Chicago. For 6 years now, they have set up the European counterpart in Paris. From Thursday 27th to Saturday 29th October, be prepared for 3 days of independent music under the Grande Halle de la Villette!

This year festival once again showcases an exciting line-up with headliners like M.I.A., Nick Murphy (FKA Chet Faker), Moderat. Alongside it's also the opportunity to meet up with long-time-no-see acts such as Bat for Lashes, Explosion in the Sky, Warpaint or to discover the artists of tomorrow: Flavien Berger, Avelino or Joey Purp.

If you can't get enough with 3 days, come a bit ahead to Paris and take part to the Pitchfork Avant-Garde block parties at La Bastille. On Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th, wander from a venue to another to discover upcoming acts. We've noticed Chet Faker's protege Cleopold, Seekae's frontman Alex Cameron, Faroe, Connie Constance and Anna of the North - among many others.

If you're really down to party, the festival's afterparties are more driven towards electronic music. Build up in partnership with Red Bull Music Academy, the afterparties will make you dance to the beats of Ryan Hemsworth, Malibu, River Tiber, Bambounou, Jacques, or Dollkraut DJ.
