Joris Feiertag is an amazing artist, insane drummer, and all-around human being I have the pleasure of knowing in person, and last week he graced us with a brand-new 5-track EP titled Embers.
A journey through powerful emotions ranging from hope and inspiration to deeply spiritual energy, the songs on the EP are meant to inspire and bring out the best in us, and that's how I feel every time I play the title track and EP opener, "Embers". The track ebbs and flows through powerful synth, perfectly weaved together through a number of vocal chants that add a gorgeous mysticism to the whole production.
I played this on my 6 AM walk to the gym this morning, and not only did I feel like a mighty superhero, but it charged my brain with a ray of positive energy to kick-start my day. If that's not a superpower that Joris possesses, I don't know what it is.
