FIYAH's latest release "Strid Motik" is a track that's brimming with elegance thanks to the stellar vocal performance and the arrangements of the strings floating in the backdrop.
The Middle Eastern artist born in Armenia is bringing a new wave of r&b to the East. She is not only genre-fluid, but she also mixes in a variety of languages throughout her songwriting. On "Strid Motik" her soothing vocals float ever so gently across the airy, soulful instrumental in a manner that's so sultry. Throughout the progression, we're greeted with this incredible rhythm section that's littered with surprises and keeps the groove interesting. This is definitely one of my favorite R&B finds this week!
