The mild psychedelic influence in his debut album Ten Months also appears on "Kevin's Street" as a contemplative tone filled with longing for a simpler time.
My folks would always name stuff after whoever lived in the street or something that was there. "Kevin's Street" is about fight or flight, about striving for something even if you don't know what it is or if it's right.
