Walking In The Rain

I think it's pretty clear - seeing a moniker like Funkmammoth automatically meant I had to hear what awaits behind that play button. And just like the name of those guys, those sweet soul / funky beats did not disappoint.

Fun story, as I played this tune, the rain storm here in Berlin finally took over the sky and this Sunday became quite... dull. But yeah - that felt like a good soundtrack of a working afternoon after all.

Now back to the Iowa based artist Funkmammoth AKA Joe AKA "Mild Underground Elevator Beats Sensation". "Walking In The Rain" is taken off his latest EP Bird Watching, which he shortly describes as "best enjoyed outside" and it seriously one of the dopest beats I've found in a while. Loving the old school 60/ 70s soul touch to the whole thing. A producer to be excited about!
