Dear Mom

Initially it was the instrumental which ensnared my attention on “Dear Mom”, particularly with the embellishment of those charming flutes pinging around in the stereo field.

These are complemented by these bright bell-like synths, thus introducing new life into the chorus. When it came to the vocals, it wasn’t just the sincere and heartwarming lyrics that made the track memorable… But it was also the youthful nature found in her vocal delivery.
