We're more used to hearing GiddyGang & Vuyo in the hip hop realm, so this came as a bit of a surprise to us. But such a nice one!
"Sinking", the closing track of their latest EP Art Over Profit, is this incredibly warm & jazz-drenched r&b tune that will melt you to the core. The honey vocals are thanks to GiddyGang's own Sarah Pettersen and the rest of the crew delivers a magnificent flow of drums, keys, synths, basslines & a brass solo towards the end that makes the picture absolutely perfect.
It's certainly one of my fav finds for the month. It actually came from Global Soul's latest show which you can tune in to below (they also played Leena & Kamen's "The View"):
