Gobi Desert Collective has arranged their latest single "Assez" to play out like a movie by virtue of the compelling cinematic progression we're welcomed to.
The guitars are decorated in a manner which is quite dramatic and seamlessly immerse the listener in a realm that makes one feel as if they are taking a journey through blazing barren lands. As a sucker for percussion, I fell in love with the subtle percs echoing in the distance, along with the more forthcoming shakers and tambs enliving the stereo field. Honestly one of the most mesmeric instances of Organic House I've heard!
