I've been dissecting Halves' music since... well, it really has been forever. And the more in-depth I went, the better it sounded. However, it is not the kind of music one would play on a ordinary day. Maybe is just me, but it is the kind of sound I enjoy going as a soundtrack to my...that time of the day where you chill out with yourself and nothing else. Like on one of those long and rainy days where you absorbed all the water in the world and you finally get home and its nice and quiet and... No thoughts about work, relationships, money... stuff. When you are truly alone.

"Best Summer" consists of 3 parts. Very logically connected. I tried to come up with sort of a catchy name for each of them, but it didn't take much time before I realized it would be in vain. Music doesn't need labels. All you need to do in this case is to really pay attention to the ongoing soundscapes these guys create. The ending with the trumped and the other ongoing stuff is simply beyond brilliant. I guess this is our post-#postrocksunday track?
