My initial gateway into Hessian was through his remix of edapollo's "Gold Light" - a track I was OBSESSED with. Hessian continues to showcase his versatility with his latest track "In My Stride", the final track in his trilogy of Autumn singles on Soundplate Records.
The Bristol-based producer has a signature sound that blends organic elements with electronic, along with the addition of soothing vocal samples. "In My Stride" acquaints us with exactly that, albeit with a progressive touch thanks to the immersive build that develops. The atmosphere here is thick and complemented by uplifting keys, thus accentuating the optimistic mood throughout the track. In the distance, Hessian has also slipped in these beautiful vocals in the mix to regularly hook the attention of the listener.
