After the buzz around Homer’s 2024 project Ensatina, he stepped back for a bit, but now he’s back with a bright and uplifting new track, "Chrysanthemum".
Having lent his drumming talents to icons ranging from Adele and Solange to Silk Sonic, Homer emerges under his moniker to shine in his own right - as both musician and producer. In fact, one of the standout features on "Chrysanthemum" is the gripping rhythm section as it's both groovy and acquints us with pleasant suprises through the stellar fills. The melodic portion is glistening with charm and emotive vigor! Throughout the background, the presence of a choir provides an eerie allure while the guitars in the foreground add a raw yet soulful edge.
