I have been lagging behind the alternative/indie since like forever. From time to time I discover a band and become so obsessed with their sound that I'd listen everything they have ever released. I have the feeling this will be the next such band.
Saturday Rock night is for Hop Along and "Tibetan Pop Stars". The trio from Philadelphia is hella catchy. If I have to be more specific it's the voice of their vocalist - Frances Quinlan. She has such a beautiful voice, the parts where you can almost feel it tremble, so full of emotions and most importantly I feel them transferred to me while listening to the song.
"Tibetan Pop Star" is part of the Get Disowned album, released in 2012. It is available for purchase at the band's bandcamp page.
