It's been an IONA-type weekend for me. After the lush electronic energy of "Nockeby" which I covered yesterday, it's time to slow things down with the perfect rainy Sunday soundtrack.
"Pay Day", featuring our mate Louk, has this really cool sonic swagger thanks to the song's jazz foundations, masterfully blended with this dope Afrobeat-inspired groove. Pure and undeniable magic.
"Pay Day is about reaping the rewards of the seeds you’ve sown and enjoying the moment when patience, effort, and momentum begin to pay off," the artists shared with me. I vibe with that!
