Last year I posted about Jack Grace saying that potentially he was a music genius. Well, his new release kind of reassures me that he is.
I feel like this guy is breaking all the rules of songwriting and combines things that can't really be put together in a song. There is traditional piano keys, squeaking synth loops, trip hop-ish beat, soulful tenor vocals. This combination is exceptional. Just like the previous releases, this track is intriguing and damn brilliant. I read somewhere that the guy managed to create a genre of his own and this seems particularly accurate. Can I just say that I'm hella excited for his debut EP?
