Whether it's r&b, soul, indie, electronic, trap, or boombap, Jeshi has built a reputation for being able to mould his signature alt hip hop aesthetic to fit into different worlds. This time, he dives into electronica and UK Garage with a much more sombre and laid-back vocal delivery, a feature that tastefully complements the moody vocal sample floating across the chorus. While the drums are lively and upbeat, the overall melodic tone of the track feels dejected, especially thanks to the airy pads hanging over the backdrop that highlight "at the wheel's" emotional charm.
