As much as I love Jose Gonzalez's notorious track "Heartbeats", "Crosses" will always be my all time favorite tune by the Swedish artist. That is why a few days ago, when I received an e-mail by Simon Hoppe I got immensely excited upon seeing he has remixed that very same track. I am not one for remixes and stuff, but he has really managed to keep the integrity of the track while adding a breath of fresh air in the equation.
Simon or as Dinner Date as he goes by nowadays refers to himself as a "baby in the scene" and to be fair that is true. The young German artist has been around for not more than a few years and he has been releasing music under the moniker Dinner Date for just...a week? So far - so good!
