The multi-instrumentalist José James comes from Minnesota and has been rolling around jazz clubs since his teenage years. His melting voice was recognized at the 2004 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Vocalist Competition for the first time, and since then, he's been blurring the lines between the genres with the smoothness never leaving his tunes.

The soul, the r&b, and the jazz come together in "Didn't Cha Know," and here, the alto saxophonist Ebban Dorsey is truly one to steal a little spotlight for herself. This beautiful silky song is what a flawless day would sound like, and we hope this is one of those.
