Junior Simba's music intersects joy, introspection, furious energy, and euphoria, yet still gets people moving with his infectious rhythm sections. "We Both Want This" leans more towards an introspective feel with its airy synths and repeating vocal phrase. Bright saw wave stabs pierce through the mix and inject energy into the calm melodic textures, and this is complemented by the raw, unpolished drums that give the track a gritty, human feel.
