The amount of soul which permeates in North41 actually has a retro aesthetic to it combined with a modern feel.

Even though I thought Kasia's vocal performance was passionate and inadvertently sultry, I gravitated towards the gorgeous array of instrumentation we're introduced to in the track. Particularly the infectious rhythm of the drums and the lush guitar strums that accentuate the track's dreamy tone.
