After numerous months of teasing fans, Klaverson has finally unveiled his latest EP Above Ground - an emotive body of work that blends downtempo, melodic house, folk, and electronica.
What I’ve always admired about Klaverson is his ability to bring a fresh perspective to any genre he touches, effortlessly blending it with his unique aesthetic. On the closing track of the EP "First Time", Klaverson makes use of the handpan to give the track a deep, earthy tone, something that really works well with the ethnic plucks adorned across the mix. When we reach the chorus, the mood is enlivened by these immersive pads that pull listeners in along with the dreamy vocals floating in the backdrop.
