EMBU has been on our radar since the beginning of the year and so far things sound more than promising. The artist, who describes herself as "I am a creature of Seattle and now roam the mountains of Colorado shoveling snow. Sometimes I make songs about the subtleties of life."
Her new release features some familiar faces - US producer Weirddough and KLEFTO. "June" is a gorgeous blend of instrumental hip hop music and soul / r&b feels written about "the moment you lean into facing your truth and being shamelessly yourself". Nothing, but good vibes.
