There must be someone special up there in the attic or perhaps I bit higher.. in the clouds maybe, who is watching over me. Just when I was getting seriously frustrated, have browsed two dozens of artists my patience was rewarded.
Klo Pelgag is the best thing that happened to time since I discovered Coeur de Pirate two years ago. She like any other French artist is strickly sticking to her to her mother tongue when it comes to media and communication thus testing my French skills to the limit. Yes, I can see she is from Montreal, Canada. The genre is poetic orchestra-like rock'n'roll d'casque (terrible translation, I know) and among the many influences she has listed are vintage round sunglasses, love handles and le chat! I think I learned a new word today - les poignees d'amour. Apart from talent in abundance that lady is in the possession of excellent sense of humor. Last but not least check out her tour dates, she is booked till June next year!
