Koralle is always stepping up his game and this thing here is on a whole new level (pun intended).

For "New Levels", the Italian beatmaker is not only joined by the legendary rapper Illa J (J Dilla's brother) but he also managed to take a '70s Italian Library classic from Modern Sound Quartet, called "Chartreuse", and turn it into a hazy hip-hop gem.

True to his style, Koralle uses a lot of jazzy samples, groovy basslines & head-bopping beats - and Illa J's delivery floats like on a cloud. This new single is released by Four Flies Records who aim to bring new life to old Italian music. It is available on a limited 7" vinyl with the original tune on the B side.
