With his latest release "Lēthē", Kotiēr borrows from UKG and electro influences to craft a listening experience that feels moody and embellished with a futuristic edge.

U.S.-based producer Kotiēr has been having quite a moment over the past year with releases on Solomun’s Diynamic and Adriatique’s Siamese. He continues his impressive streak with a gorgeous new EP, Static Soul - a colorful body of work that's found a home on Rüfüs Du Sol's imprint Rose Avenue. With its melodic opulence and gripping soundscape, the centerpiece of Static Soul is undoubtedly "Lēthē". Towards the second half, the track bursts to life thanks to the fierce pads hovering over the glossy lead and the wobbly basslines.

“This EP plays with contrast: stillness and motion, memory and momentum. It’s introspective, but there’s a rhythm running through everything — something that keeps it grounded, even as it evolves.” – Kotiēr
