Still easily my favourite song of 2014 so far, Kyla La Grange's "Cut Your Teeth" is a bubbling piece of electro-pop, with enough beats and bass to pass for a stylish indie floor-filler. As the lyrics suggest, "Cut Your Teeth" has a dark, twisted side to it, however thanks to 22 year old Norwegian producer Kygo and his remix of the track, all that changes.
Taking attention away from the original's dark, fluttering bass, Kygo replaces it with an up-beat, tropical sounding melody and beat that has me dancing wildly round my room. I know its only January, but could this already be the sound of summer?
