"Dumb Luck is motivated by a common theme in my music surrounding the ins and outs of a relationship that isn’t very healthy. It’s hard to imagine yourself in a situation where you enjoy a romantic encounter after constant fighting, but sometimes you blink and that’s exactly the situation you find yourself in" shares Laeland.
He harmonizes his voice with the beautiful one that Snøw carries and together, with a layering that builds out perfectly, tell a story over the lofi production full of guitar riffs and uplifting drum parts as we are hungry for more. We can feel the pain and the longing in an r&b smooth form as we stumble across emotions that are thoroughly infused in the melody.
