In January, one of my favorite albums of the year arrived, and that is Leaving Laurel's our lives intertwined. It's beautiful to see he's already back with another spellbinding project!

The new EP sketches for my beloved consists of a gem called "a moment alone", and here, Gordan Huntley veers into a breakbeat direction. This immediately creates a fascinating contrast with his soft, cinematic melodic soundscapes that make up his signature aesthetic. Fierce drums s roll across the mix, ushering in a choppy yet simultaneously smooth rhythm that plays throughout the release. The shimmering lead synth and airy pads take the track to a new level, especially around the halfway point, when the layers begin to swell and transform the track into something far more expansive and ethereal.
