Leaving Laurel has long been one of my favorite Anjunadeep acts, and their return brings a romance-fuelled listening experience that fully immerses you in its soundscapes.
Leaving Laurel is the project of Pierce Fulton and Gordon Huntley, a duo with a talent for creating melodic electronic music that feels personal and reflective. This is certainly what we're acquinted with on "together (we are more)", especially since the emotive vocal performance highlights the previous sentiment. Glistening piano arrangemenets and dreamy pads accentuate the track's atmospheric feel, while the arrive of the lead adds a burst of energy into the climax. Towards the end, these soaring strings unveil Leaving Laurel's cinematic charm to offer an incredibly memorable finale.
