This is hands down one of my favorite discoveries this month (courtesy of Ivo)! Love Remain's latest release beautifully captures the sound of the UK underground in such a gritty manner.
Last year marked quite a special year for Love Remain as he not only dropped his sophomore album With Every Cloud, but it was also packed with a range of high-profile shows. He starts off 2025 in style thanks to the uplifting breakbeat tune "Steppa" - a listening experience that blurs the line between old school and modern club music. Fast-paced, shuffling drums are paired with wonky bass lines and colorful synths to enliven the experience. I certainly can't neglect to mention the sprinkle of vocals that add a soulful charm next to the punchy rhythm section.
