Lu.Re really lurred us to her music a while back - "Rains" was her first song ever and I can tell she's come even further into smoothness.
She now teamed up with Jackson Swaby for a UK garage / broken d'n'b track - "Night Soul". The freshness & energy of the beatwork works sooo well with the playful guitar riffs & the silky R&B vocals of Lu. She shares about the track:
“Night Soul" is about someone or something that can help you shut out everyday stresses and really relax, and the peace and passion you find as a result. I wrote it after reading a poem called ‘Dark Night of the Soul’ which, at least on some level, is about a meeting with God where you’re freed to reach a kind of ultimate happiness. "Night Soul" shares that ideal of being freed from something - your mind or whatever’s pulling you down - so you can unlock the good stuff.
And I really hope that's how it affects you!
