Luccini Sweets and Keysuna team up to offer listeners a nostalgic blend between hip hop and r&b on their latest release "I mean it".

Luccini Sweets, a Congolese singer-songwriter based in Nantes, France, blends influences from 70s soul, 90s trip-hop, hip-hop, and r&b. "I mean it" is fleshed out by warm, glossy keys and a fabulous bass line that compliments the rhythm section to give the track a stellar bounce. What I found beautiful about the songwriting is how Luccini is able to be utterly soulful and catchy throughout his vocal performance. I can't neglect to mention the slick rap verse from Keysuna towards the tail end of the track.
