Moments

While Christmas has passed, I still carry the chill spirit and uplift vibes... so I wanted to hold on to the moment a bit longer with this lovely new feature. Just before 2019 came to an end, Tel Aviv-based hip hop collective Lucille Crew summed up their intense and exciting year of their lives with the release of "Moments".

The duo are no strangers to us at the fox. A few months ago Nasko introduced us to lead by producer Izzy (Isgav Dotan) and Drummer Yossi Adi and their stunning single "This Day" featuring Iro. Now their "Moments" video, follows the guys throughout their adventures and is nothing short than good vibes. A perfect showcase of their funky groove approach to beat-making blended with silky vocals.

In the summer of 2018, We performed in a German town by the name of Jena.

2 months after the show, we’ve received and email from Christoph. A person we didn’t know before and asked us if we have some footage of the audience from that specific show.

Christoph also told us that he attended our show with his sister Marie and both of their spouses (Olivia and Lukas). And that they danced their souls out with us in the summer rain that surprised us that day.

And also that this moment was his and Marie’s last dance together, Since She had passed away a few weeks after the show, due to an unexpected cardiac problems at the age of 28. And that he would love to have some visual memory from that precious day.

We tried to find footage of Marie and the guys through people in the production and in our own archive, but with no luck.

Still, Christoph’s story touched us deeply and in many different ways.

The strong and painful reminder that every moment that passes won’t come back.

How without knowing we took such a roll in such a significant moment in a person’s life.

The fear of losing a person who’s close to you without any notice.

This year, we went back to that same place where we performed and danced with Marie and Christoph and really wanted to somehow, in our simple way, try and give Christoph another memory of Marie and their last dance. "Moments" is dedicated to Marie, Christoph and their family.
