It is safe to say to I am fond of covers and mash ups. When I really like a song I have it on repeat for many days and when I am finally done I move on to the next one. I am also curious to find what other versions were inspired by that song. How artists interpret it in their own unique way and expand the song to new genres.
The acoustic cover of "Frozen" by Forrest Fires is such a delight to listen to. The instrumental in the Madonna's song is something that massively adds up to the atmosphere of the song so one might think that an acoustic version would sound poorly. On contraire mon ami, Brian Massimetti's voice together with his great guitar performance fits perfectly in this cover. It is not an easy song to cover and I assure you Forrest Fires will not disappoint.
