Well, it comes as no surprise that Australia delivers a new amazing electronic sound. MANSIONAIR is a young production Sydney-based duo consisting of Lachlan Bostock and Alex Nicholls. With just 28 followers on Facebook (still have no idea why this number is not increasing every day) and one track on Soundcloud they grabbed my attention and landed in my bookmarks.
Their debut track "Hold Me Down" is a collaboration with another young Australian band Revier. If you dig the vocals I suggest checking them out.
"Hold Me Down" is hazy and mesmerizing and basically wraps you in the mellow sound, vocals and overall production. The track incorporates ton of little elements from various electronic (and not only them) genres. Beautiful, groovy and smooth.
