Oh how much I love Marie Dahlstrom! She has definitely become one of the essentials in the contemporary R&B scene and her voice is unmistakeable.

"A Good Life" is a title track off her upcoming album A Good Life out via JFH Records, and May 22nd can't come sooner. The track just made so so happy, you know it's one of those that you listen to and all the problems seem to go away somehow? That's the track, that's "A Good Life". The track is soulful and masterfully produced by Conor Albert (didn't expect anything else from him), and my favourite part is the last jazzy bit when Marie is just vocalizing and her voice really shines. The song is dedicated to Marie's son and it's the sweetest thing ever.
