Friday starts with a stir of neo-soul, alternative and indie r&b for anyone who loves the vibes of Mahalia, Jhene Aiko, and H.E.R.

Meet Maya Simone - a US-based singer and songwriter with one of the silkiest voices out there. "Deep" is one of the pivotal tracks in her debut EP Meraci, which she dropped last year. A wonderful discovery and an instant add to my soulful r&b playlist.

I highly recommend paying attention to the lyrics on the track, it adds a lot of flavour to the already enchanting ambiance of the composition.
