Aidan's Tempo

After years of silence, the lauded U.S.-based producer Medasin is back with a brand-new album Always in a Hurry, and I must say this project is chock-full of surprises.

Sitting right in the center of the album is the track "Aidan's Tempo" and it's one of the stand-out tracks we encounter. I loved the contrast between an upbeat rhythm section layered with swift fills underneath slow, atmospheric pads filling up the space. "Aidan's Tempo" feels rather deep while it grants listeners the opportunity to bounce along with the groove.
