Menik's "Brothers", besides being one of the most captivating ambient / beat findings I've stumbled upon recently, is a track full of history.

The track is taken off his debut album Story Time and features field recordings from milestone stages of Menik's life. Track's intro and the sample used throughout the composition is actually camcorder audio from 28 years ago. In the footage, Menik is about to get on a tram by pier 39 in San Francisco, and the voices you can hear are his Grandma Pat (RIP), dad and brother. There's also more audio clips at the end of Menik's brother and mother... how awesomely bizarre this is?

It's the kind of sound you want to listen to while floating around in a world where gravity does not exist.
