London-based Meron T is one of my most exciting discoveries of 2025 and today we celebrate her talented in the sonic shape of "fiyah!" - a track from her upcoming Palindrome EP.
The song clearly channels Meron's East African heritage and UK's club culture which she grew up with. The subtle groove creates this warm and alluring, yet irresistable energy, earning " fiyah!" a well deserved spot on any modern day selection. Major props to Brighter Days producer IZCO and fellow South London rapper Sam Wise who help when it comes to balancing intimacy with intensity.
