At some point during the day, I had a moment when everything felt a bit fuzzy like my mind was floating somewhere out of my body. Then, just like that, I stumbled upon "Drained" by North Message, an electronic artist from Knoxville, Tennessee.
Right from the start, the music flowed with a chilled-out, melodic electronic groove. It's got this catchy synth lead that bounces over some hip-hop and breakbeat drum sampling, creating a rhythm that's simply magnetic.
As the music enveloped me with its atmospheric soundscapes and melodies, I sensed a magnetic pull, akin to a compass directing me towards a state of clarity and focus. Message North offered me a melodic escape when I needed it most, and I owe him one.
