Hailing from England's southern seaside coast is Mhairi (pronounced "mah-ree").

With influences like Massive Attack, Peter Gabriel and Imogen Heap, the Alt-Electro artist has established a sharp and eerie ambience in her debut single, "Crystalline". Stammering strikes and glitchy tweaks, layered with frosted vocals and brooding lyrics, emphasise the mental despair this song has risen from.

Mhairi on her debut single:

"Crystalline" explores the feeling of being lost inside your own mind, and how introversion can be a detriment to your sense of self and the relationships you have. The lyrics follow an internal dialogue, and show a kind of struggle between two parts of my mind - one that needs to indulge in being alone, and one that needs to be anywhere else other than inside my own head.

Mhairi seduces intrigue and shows much promise for the following months to come.
