A new Misha tune is always a blessing.
The Finnish producer teamed up with his frequent collaborator, bass player cocabona, and singer/producer/trumpet player Phil Beaudreau (1/3 of Catpack) for "Dream of Summer".
The title says it all - the tune is both sunny & ethereal and carries a myriad of beautiful elements - honey vocals, spacey synths, funky basslines, bright horns, even fairytale-like strings.
"Somewhere between a soft psychedelic dream and the quiet wonder of a classic animated film. It reflects that fragile state where sadness, beauty, and hope blur together, and where everything feels both heavy and weightless at once. Within that drift, there’s a subtle sense of comfort – an understanding that even the most disorienting moments eventually begin to settle," Misha says.
An absolute masterpiece, yet incredibly light, as well.
"Dream of Summer" is another piece of the upcoming Misha album, set to release later this year.
