Misha strikes again. The Finnish producer joins forces with LA-based Grammy-winning artist Gwen Bunn and French-German producer Evil Needle to create an absolute gem for those late-night drives.
"Goodbye" opens with a subtle late 80s synth glow before gradually slipping into a slower, silkier 90s r&b feel. I appreciate the fact that it is nostalgic without feeling stuck in the past. I mean, I didn't expect anything less from Misha, but yeah - this is seriously one of the best productions I've heard in a while. It kind ot feels as if The Internet's Syd was transported in 1994 and had to record a track.
Also, major props for the warm and understated groove that makes you want more. If you're seeking a slow-burning ode to those late-night moments you wish would never end, then this is it, friends.
