I heard this for the first time 2 years ago, when it was still a demo.

Modyst, an incredibly talented US rapper, often brings his delivery on some of chillhop OGs' instrumentals - and the foundation of "Isolation" here is thanks to French beatmaker Saï T.

Airy samples, plucking guitars, warm keys, and boom-bap beats float underneath Modyst's skillful & speedy, yet effortless flow.

The song is part of Isolation EP, the first project since 2023. He shares, "It came from quiet moments, pressure, burnout, and everything I couldn’t say out loud. If you’ve ever felt disconnected while still surrounded by people - this is for you."
