NO CEREMONY/// (not sure what's up with capslock and ///) is a Manchester-based electronic trio. They were trying to keep everything as mysterious as possible for over a year, creating some fuss around them and trying to make people focus on their music. The music is good enough to keep the focus on it.
They released their debut LP this September and even though most of the tracks have been released as separate singles over the last year or so, the album is magical, highly recommend it.
"Hurtlove" is the opening track of their debut album and it is a grand opening. The track is very gentle and energetic at the same time. I am in love with the harmony of the soft piano and the robotic, super electrified voice of one of the band members. Very unusual, but majestic combination. The song is very emotional and somehow very sad, or at least this is the vibe I am gettng from it. Check it out and you will have it on repeat for a very long time.
