We continue the exploration of noxz's upcoming album, Safe To Be, which we're dropping at the start of summer. This whole thing feels surreal because Enoch himself and all the collaborators on the record are artists we've been following since before we even launched the label. The good old curation days!
The third single, called "Everybody Knows," features Berhana, who we first spotlighted back in 2015. One of Ethiopia's most soulful voices brings his energy on top of noxz's tight instrumental to create a song that feels both empowering and intimate. Berhana's dreamy vocals that explore the lack of trust and communication in a relationship, a theme that flows into the overall Safe To Be story. A record expands on the themes of intimacy, atmosphere, and sonic storytelling, building a cohesive body of work designed not just to be heard, but experienced.
