The album lives at the intersection of R&B, soul, and Afro-fusion with subtle jazz-leaning electronic textures. Opening the album is one of my personal favourites, "Weak With Me", featuring Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Ogi. Her soul-stirring vocals glide over a chill jazz-hop groove, lush strings, and warm instrumentation, resulting in a track that feels open and vulnerable. I wish it didn't ever have to end.
